Mouth Guard

Mouth Guards are an essential part of any sparring gear set. Some mouthguards come ready to wear. Other allow more customized fit by “boiling and biting” mouthpiece, which can be modified to your unique mouth. Simply heat these thermoplastic pieces to soften then place in your mouth to shape around your teeth. Make sure the water is not too hot. Inserting the mouthguard in boiling water can warp the mouth guard. Once water is boiling, remove from heat and let the water sit and cool for a minute or two. This will ensure the water is not too hot and prevent over warping of the mouth guard.
